LAHORE: An enforcement team of Punjab Food Authority has seized 33, 750 kilograms of expired imported food products while busting a food fraud network during a raid on a warehouse in Rana Town. The operation was led by Additional Director General Operations Asad Ullah after three days of surveillance. An FIR was lodged and two suspects were arrested for their involvement in food forgery, said a spokesman of the Authority here on Thursday. Food safety teams confiscated 11, 100 litres of juice and syrup, 2, 088 kilograms of milk powder, 310 litres of jelly, 2, 000 kilograms of jam, 3, 200 kilograms of wafers and other items.
