STANDING WITH THE CHILDREN OF HAITI

Three years of action against child hunger and malnutrition — World Vision International Haiti’s contribution to the global ENOUGH campaign, 2023–2025 In Haiti, countless children wake each morning with the same question in their hearts: will there be enough to eat today? For more than forty years, World Vision has stood beside them so that the answer can be “yes.” We do this because we believe, deeply, that every girl and boy is created for life in all its fullness — and that no child should have that gift stolen by hunger. The global ENOUGH campaign, carried by World Vision from 2023–2025, is the expression of that conviction. It is the largest movement our organisation has ever launched to say, with one voice, that child hunger and malnutrition are neither inevitable nor a mere misfortune: they are an injustice we can — and must — bring to an end. In Haiti, that urgency is anything but abstract. Instability, armed-group violence, economic collapse and climate shocks have plunged millions of children into food insecurity and displacement. This report tells how, from 2023 to 2025, the teams of World Vision International Haiti turned the vision of ENOUGH into concrete action: feeding children today while tackling the roots of hunger; giving girls and boys a voice in the decisions that shape their lives; and building, together with families and communities, a resilience that lasts. But these pages are not, first of all, about numbers. They are about children whose growth was tracked and whose lives were saved; about gardens greening schoolyards; about mothers saving together for the future; about young people rising to defend their rights; and about faith communities that have become beacons of hope. None of it would have been possible without the faithfulness of our donors, or the dedication of local staff who know, speak and live the Haitian reality. Our vision for every child remains life in all its fullness; our prayer for every heart, the will to make it so.
