PRIORITY ACTIONS ▸ Sustain BVD preparedness across the 15 priority counties as DRC reaches 8, 375 cases and Kenya confirms its first imported case; maintain PoE screening (72, 183 over 1–3 Oct) and readiness along the western corridor. ▸ Sustain cholera response in Mayom and Renk; cumulative 112, 186 with 15 new cases and 1 death (Fangak); push toward 100% RDT testing and the earliest end-of-outbreak declaration (26 Oct). ▸ Intensify polio outbreak response — five (5) new cVDPV1 and one (1) new cVDPV2 case in Week 40 (cVDPV2 extending to Awerial, Lakes); finalize R1 NID readiness and respond to active measles outbreaks (Tonj North, Aweil South). ▸ Sustain Guinea Worm surveillance (0 human and animal cases in 2026; 3 wild-cat detections in Week 40) with health education, water treatment and pipe-filter distribution in affected communities
