Highlights A significant investment in capacity building was made across Afghanistan, with 531 health workers trained in 14 different disciplines. WHO-supported health facilities delivered a high volume of essential services. This included 64 146 outpatient consultations, vaccinations for over 3000 children under five, and reaching 47 009 people in remote areas with health education and awareness materials. A 174% increase in suspected Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever (CCHF) cases compared to May, with 483 cases and 21 deaths reported in June alone.
