Speaking to Business Recorder, auto expert Usman Ansari termed the launch a good omen as he believes the time of sedan and hatchback has passed and now customers-cum-people love to drive SUV or XUV or jeep. “When it comes to prices of three models or variants of Suzuki Fronx, they are way more reasonable according to the local market, ” he said. Ansari said the vehicle was launched in India around two years back. “This vehicle is more successful with safety features, ” he claimed. Meanwhile, auto analyst Muhammad Sabir Shaikh said Chinese and South Korean automakers have reshaped consumer preferences by shifting focus from traditional sedans and hatchbacks to SUVs and crossovers, which are increasingly seen as more stylish. “Japanese carmakers are now following the trend, adapting their lineups to meet changing customer demand, ” Shaikh said.
