Iran’s Fars news agency said several sounds resembling explosions were heard near Bandar Abbas city. A Fox News reporter said in a post on X, citing a senior US official, that the US military had carried out strikes on Qeshm port and the city of Bandar Abbas. The official said the strikes do not mean a restarting of the war or an end to the ceasefire announced on April 7, according to the post.
