KARACHI: Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon, said that the Red Line BRT is not just a project, but the lifeline of Karachi’s future, with the potential to bring revolutionary change to the city’s transport system. He said that once work on the project resumes, citizens will witness noticeable improvement within the next two to three months. Efforts are also being made to restore the under-construction sections in phases and reopen them for traffic. He said that while the public may face temporary inconvenience during the completion of mega projects, the Sindh government is fully aware of the situation. In this regard, clear instructions have been issued to the relevant institutions to improve traffic flow. Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the Sindh government has prioritized public interest and taken effective measures to ensure both the pace and quality of the project. He further said that the Red Line BRT is a key public project of the Sindh government aimed at providing modern, eco-friendly, and quality transportation facilities to the citizens of Karachi.
