PMA Kakul holds passing-out parade

KAKUL: The Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul held a prestigious passing-out parade on Saturday, where graduating cadets reaffirmed their resolve to defend the country with unwavering commitment. Academy Senior Under Officer Bilal Naseem from Azad Kashmir won the coveted Sword of Honour. The ceremony marked the culmination of rigorous military training, with cadets pledging to serve the nation with dedication and sacrifice. Bilal Naseem, declared the best cadet of the course, said he had joined PMA to serve the country and that the academy’s training further strengthened his commitment. Battalion Senior Under Officer Muhammad Saad from Skardu, who was awarded the President’s Gold Medal, said the training at PMA played a pivotal role in shaping his personality, enhancing his capabilities, and refining his character. Gentleman Cadet Masood ur Rehman from Mastung, Balochistan, described the demanding training, professional guidance, and teamwork at the academy as a matter of pride. Highlighting PMA’s international stature, Senior Under Officer Pobin Kunwar from Nepal, representing a friendly country, described the academy as a prestigious institution and appreciated the strong bonds of friendship between Pakistan and Nepal, rooted in a shared past and a promising future.
