Petrol raised by Rs1.19, diesel cut by Rs1.91 per litre in latest revision

Petrol prices have increased by Rs1. 19 per litre, while high-speed diesel has fallen by Rs1. 91 per litre in the latest revision of petroleum prices. After the increase, the new petrol price is Rs394. 83 per litre, up from Rs393. 64 per litre announced a day earlier. The price of high-speed diesel has been reduced to Rs395. 85 per litre from Rs397. 76 per litre in the previous revision. The latest change means petrol has risen by a total of Rs2. 07 per litre over the two consecutive revisions, from Rs392. 76 per litre to Rs394. 83 per litre. High-speed diesel, meanwhile, has fallen by a total of Rs3. 79 per litre over the two revisions, from Rs399. 64 per litre to Rs395. 85 per litre.
