KARACHI: Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab on Thursday inaugurated a project to rehabilitate and improve a dual carriageway in North Nazimabad’s Block J, aimed at improving travel facilities for residents. Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad, city council members, elected representatives and other officials attended the inauguration. The mayor said the 3, 500-foot-long dual carriageway had been constructed at a cost of Rs128. 3 million. The project included construction and rehabilitation of the 3, 500-foot road, along with paved shoulders and a 3, 500-foot-long footpath, he said.
