Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply on Friday, with the price per tola increasing by Rs6, 900 to Rs460, 336, in line with gains in the international market. The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs5, 914 to Rs394, 663, according to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). On Thursday, gold had declined by Rs3, 800 per tola to Rs453, 436. In the international market, gold rose by $69 to $4, 378 per ounce. Silver prices also increased on Friday, rising by Rs300 to Rs7, 169 per tola.
