Between 25 October 2025 and 23 June 2026, an estimated 219, 319 IDPs displaced from the Kordofan region were recorded across 1, 012 locations in 89 localities and 14 states in Sudan. DTM field teams reported 109 incidents triggering displacement across the Kordofan region between 25 October 2025 and 23 June 2026. The majority of individuals displaced from the Kordofan region were recorded in Khartoum (75, 005 IDPs), White Nile (39, 442 IDPs), and North Kordofan (33, 465 IDPs). Compared to late February 2026, there has been a sharp increase in IDPs moving to other states outside the Kordofan region, particularly Khartoum. Within Khartoum, the majority of IDPs from Kordofan were recorded across Um Bada (37, 969 IDPs), Karrari (17, 653 IDPs), and Um Durman (12, 682 IDPs). Within White Nile, IDPs were primarily recorded in Kosti (25, 123 IDPs), followed by smaller populations recorded in Tendalti (4, 145 IDPs), and Rabak (4, 095 IDPs). Within North Kordofan, IDPs were primarily recorded in Sheikan (19, 400 IDPs) and in Ar Rahad (8, 985 IDPs).
