ATC grants police a 10-day remand of two PTI workers

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday granted police a 10-day physical remand of two Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers in a case registered in connection with the November 26 protest. ATC judge Abual Hasanat Mohammad Zulqarnain, while hearing the case, handed two PTI workers over to the police on a 10-day physical remand. Police were seeking a 30-day physical remand of the accused in the case registered against them at Khanna police station. Meanwhile, police produced five more workers of PTI before ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra, seeking to send the accused on judicial remand to jail for identification parade in a case registered against them in connection with the protest on Constitution Avenue on February 15.
