KARACHI: The Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, on Saturday launched “Lamha-e-Maujood”, a poetry collection by late journalist and poet Rashid Noor. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Sahar Ansari, while Arts Council President Muhammad Ahmed Shah attended as chief guest. Writers, academics and literary figures, including Rukhsana Saba, Salman Siddiqui, Dr Ambreen Haseeb Amber and Wasi Qureshi, spoke at the event, which was moderated by Shakeel Khan. Speakers paid tribute to Noor’s literary contributions, describing him as a significant figure in Karachi’s literary landscape whose work reflected sincerity, emotional depth and social awareness.
