IN NUMBERS USD 2. 9 M required in the next six months (July – December 2026) HIGHLIGHTS As part of WFP’s ongoing capacity strengthening and capacity transfer activities under the School Meals Programme, WFP Armenia joined regional missions to the Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan. These visits provided a strategic platform for knowledge sharing and peer learning, reinforcing WFP’s role in capacity strengthening and highlighting the importance of regional collaboration. By engaging directly with government counterparts, partners, International Financial Institutions (IFIs), the exchanges advanced collective efforts to strengthen regional partnerships and promote cross-country capacity exchange platforms. The 2026 Food Security and Vulnerability Assessment results showed that food insecurity decreased from 20 percent to 18 percent and the proportion of marginally food secure households declined from 54 to 49 percent, compared to 2024.
