The Funding Windows are UNDP’s primary mechanism for thematic, flexible non-core funding, providing critical support for the implementation of the UNDP Strategic Plan 2026–2029 and helping advance the Funding Compact ambition to increase the share of flexible resources. Through stories, data, and insights, the report shows how Funding Windows flexible resources enable agile responses, integrated development solutions, and innovative approaches, benefiting more than 4. 9 million people worldwide. The 2025 Annual Report highlights results including improved access to essential services for over 1. 5 million people, strengthened livelihoods for over 134, 000 people, improved access to justice and legal services for more than 700, 000 people, and support to 12 countries across five regions to advance climate action. It also demonstrates how flexible funding catalyzes partnerships and additional government co-financing to maximize development impact.
