ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s National Cyber Emergency Response Team (NCERT) has issued a high-alert cybersecurity advisory warning of potential phishing and malware attacks through WhatsApp Web, WhatsApp Desktop and email. The agency has cautioned that malicious files disguised as official government documents could compromise Windows-based computers and expose sensitive information to unauthorised access.
