Temporary road closure for construction of Azeempura Flyover

KARACHI The municipal corporation has announced the temporary closure of Shah Faisal Town Road to facilitate the ongoing construction work on the Azeempura Flyover. The spokesperson of the municipal corporation stated today that due to the ongoing work on the Azeempura Flyover, the road will be closed for one day from 11 PM tomorrow night. Due to the construction of the bridge, the road leading to and from Shah Faisal Town Road and Shahrah Bhutto will remain closed for one day. This decision has been made following the instructions of Karachi Mayor, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, as efforts are being made to expedite the completion of the flyover. The spokesperson of the municipal corporation apologized for the inconvenience caused to commuters and the general public, assuring that this inconvenience is temporary and necessary for infrastructure improvement. Residents and commuters in the area are advised to plan their routes to avoid delays.
