Taylor Swift set to make history with second Hall of Fame honour

Taylor Swift is set to make history again as she prepares to be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame on October 26. The 14-time Grammy winner will be formally inducted during the organisation’s annual gala at Music City Centre in Nashville. At 36, Swift will become the youngest-ever inductee in the institution’s history. Her attendance at the ceremony has not yet been officially confirmed. Swift was named to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026 in the Contemporary Songwriter/Artist category. She joins Lyle Lovett, Bruce Channel, Shawn Camp and Lee Thomas Miller in this year’s class. The honour comes months after Swift was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York in June, becoming the youngest woman to receive the distinction at the age of 36. The Nashville honour holds particular significance for Swift, who moved to the city as a teenager with ambitions of becoming a songwriter. Nashville later played a major role in shaping her career and musical identity.
