ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) will celebrate World Space Week (WSW) 2026 from 4 to 10 October across Pakistan, featuring a range of educational and public activities under this year’s global theme, “Rocket Revolution, ” a press release said on Sunday. The theme highlights the rapid evolution of rocket technology and its role in shaping the future of space exploration, the press release added. As Pakistan’s national coordinator for World Space Week since 2005, SUPARCO will lead nationwide activities to promote awareness of space science, technology and exploration among students, educators, space enthusiasts and the general public, the press release said. The celebrations will feature national-level contests and educational activities, including the best space school contest, space ambassador contest and public competitions in comic book design, design your rocket and astrophotography, added the press release.
