BAJAUR: During effective intelligence-based operations of security forces under Operation Garj-11, several Khawarij were killed and their hideouts were destroyed. According to security sources, during the operation, security forces also arrested facilitators while recovering a large quantity of arms and ammunition. In an intelligence-based operation in the Shakro area of Bajaur, security forces effectively targeted Khawarij hideouts. There are reports of several Khawarij being killed and injured during successful operations in Bajaur. Security forces also destroyed improvised explosive devices used by Khawarij during Operation Garj-11. Terrorists are being forced to flee from the local population through ground and quadcopter-assisted operations.
