Punjab opposition seeks immediate assembly session over foreign women’s ordeal, other issues

LAHORE – The PTI-led opposition has called for convening of an emergency Assembly session to discuss the alleged worsening security situation across Punjab, recent incidents of violence against women, particularly the alleged rape of a foreign woman, prison reforms, alleged mistreatment of political workers in custody, and concerns.
