PM reaffirms appreciation for KSA support

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday reaffirmed Pakistan’s deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support, generous assistance and pivotal role in promoting peace and stability in the region. The prime minister expressed these views while talking to the outgoing Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, who paid a farewell call on him. Sharif congratulated Al-Malki on the successful completion of his assignment and lauded his “outstanding” contribution to further strengthening the deep-rooted fraternal and strategic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Al-Malki expressed his profound gratitude to the prime minister and the government for the warmth, cooperation and hospitality extended to him throughout his tenure. Describing his stay in Pakistan as a deeply memorable and rewarding experience, the outgoing ambassador reaffirmed his personal commitment to the continued strengthening of Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations.
