Palm rebounds on stronger rival Dalian; weak crude caps gains

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian palm oil futures rebounded on Thursday, after falling in the previous session, supported by stronger rival Dalian oils, though weaker crude oil prices and softer Chicago soyoil capped the gains. The benchmark palm oil contract for November delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange gained 26 ringgit, or 0. 52%, to 4, 984 ringgit ($1, 235. 19) a metric ton in early trade.
