Pakistan has condemned the recent violation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound by Israeli settlers, who raised the occupying power’s flag within the holy site’s courtyard, denouncing these acts as blatant violations of international law. “The storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and the provocative flag-raising by illegal Israeli settlers not only disrespect the sanctity and inviolability of this revered site but also risk further escalating tensions in the region, ” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement. Pakistan called for all necessary measures to protect sacred sites under Israeli occupation and end the impunity of illegal settlers operating in the area.
