Britain’s outgoing Prime Minister Keir Starmer will travel to Kyiv on Thursday for talks with President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in one of his final visits as UK leader, Downing Street said. Starmer, who is due to step down on Monday, will discuss progress made in equipping Ukraine in its fight against Russia’s invasion and what allies should focus on next, Downing Street said in a statement. Andy Burnham is expected to be formally announced as Labour leader on Friday and will be officially named as Britain’s prime minister on Monday.
