Please refer to the attached Infographic. Context Overview • UN/INGO Aid Throughput: In September, UN/INGO aid throughput declined, largely due to holiday-related disruptions. A total of 2, 044 trucks were manifested to cross on operational days when Kerem Shalom/Karem Abu Salem (KS/KAS) was open, representing a 44% decrease from the monthly average in 2026 Q2. Of these, 1, 460 trucks (72%) were successfully offloaded, with Ashdod accounting for 35% of offloads, followed by Egypt (25%) and Jordan (24%); the remainder originated from the West Bank and Israel routes. • Egypt Route: Egypt faced significant operational challenges, with 58% of manifested trucks either returned for later dispatch, rejected, or cancelled before departure. Throughput was further constrained by changes to cargo scanning procedures, which reduced handling capacity at KS/KAS for cargo coming via the Egypt route and contributed to lower offloading rates. • Through the Ashdod port route, scanner malfunctions suspended the processing of manifested trucks from 9 to 22 September, resulting in below-normal operational capacity throughout the month and fewer trucks scanned per day than usual. • Through the Jordan route, operations through Sheikh Hussein Bridge/Jordan River Crossing (SHB/JRC) continued Sunday to Thursday with a capacity of up to 15 trucks per day, while King Hussein Bridge/Allenby Bridge Crossing (KHB/ABC) operations were limited to a single day per week, handling up to 60 trucks per day in September. • “Dual-use” cargo offloads at KS/KAS continued to be authorised for only one day per week during September. The total days where “dual-use” cargo crossed into Gaza was 5 days throughout all corridors except for the “dual-use” coming from Jordan they crossed only 4 times during September. • 16, 160 square meters of Cluster-managed temporary storage space is available in Gaza. • Assessments and Surveys: In September, the Logistics Cluster Support Team launched the third round of the 2026 Gaza Humanitarian Storage Capacity Survey, with 33 organisations reporting on 125 warehouses, including 112 operational facilities. The Logistics Cluster Support Team also launched separate services market assessments on the Jordan and Israel markets to identify operational needs, service availability, contracting challenges, and constraints, informing the 2027 Concept of Operations.
