Database software firm MongoDB’s Chirantan “CJ” Desai has stepped down as president and CEO to join Meta Platforms as chief enterprise platform officer, the companies said on Monday. Shares of MongoDB fell 14% in premarket trading. Desai has served as MongoDB’s CEO for less than a year, having taken the role in November from Dev Ittycheria.
