VEHARI – Managing Director WASA Vehari Ch. Ikram Ullah took timely action as soon as rainfall began and immediately mobilised field teams to ensure the prompt drainage of rainwater from different areas. According to PRO Wasa Vehari Mr Waseem Bari, under the direct supervision and instructions of the MD WASA, WASA Vehari teams launched an immediate drainage operation across the city, which continued until late at night to provide relief to citizens. Ch. Ikram Ullah himself visited various areas of the city late into the night after the rainfall and personally monitored the drainage operation. During his field visits, he issued necessary instructions to officers and field teams for the speedy removal of accumulated rainwater. Director Administration, Finance and Revenue Naeem Ahmad Tarrar and Deputy Director WASA Vehari Abid Hussain Shahid also remained present in the field and monitored the drainage operation. As a result of the timely directions and continuous supervision of the MD WASA, field teams completed the drainage of rainwater from various parts of the city in record time, providing immediate relief to citizens.
