A labourer died after inhaling poisonous gas while cleaning a sewer manhole, rescue sources said here on Wednesday. The incident occurred in suburban village 187/EB, where the local worker, identified as Farhad, resident of 247/EB Machhiwal, was cleaning a sewer line when he was exposed to toxic gas. .
