KCCI election: Baiga congratulates Mubeen, BMG candidates

KARACHI: Senior Vice President of the Textile Traders Association, Asif Baiga, has congratulated the Association’s Vice President Mubeen Waqar on his election as a member of the Executive Committee of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). In his congratulatory message, Asif Baiga said that Mubeen Waqar is an experienced, dynamic and successful businessman who has been actively associated with the trade and business sector for many years. He said that Waqar has extensive experience in overseas and international trade, imports and exports, and international business affairs. Asif Baiga highlighted Mubeen Waqar’s services to the business community through the platform of the Textile Traders Association. He said that Waqar has played an active role in highlighting traders’ concerns, strengthening business contacts and promoting the interests of the trade and business community. He expressed confidence that Mubeen Waqar’s extensive business experience, knowledge of international trade and understanding of traders’ issues would enable him to make a constructive contribution as a member of the KCCI Executive Committee. Asif Baiga also extended his congratulations to all candidates of the Businessmen Group (BMG) on their success in the KCCI elections. He particularly congratulated BMG Chairman Zubair Motiwala and all BMG Vice Chairmen, expressing his best wishes for their future responsibilities. He said that the confidence placed in the newly elected representatives by the business community carries a significant responsibility to continue working for the betterment of traders and industrialists. Asif Baiga expressed hope that the newly elected KCCI team would work effectively towards addressing the issues faced by the business community, improving the business environment, promoting trade and industry, facilitating investment and contributing to the economic development of Karachi. He further said that Karachi, being the country’s major commercial and economic centre, plays a vital role in Pakistan’s economy. He expressed the hope that the KCCI leadership would maintain close coordination with traders, industrialists and relevant stakeholders and continue efforts to strengthen the city’s business and industrial sector.
