Earthquake tremors were felt across several parts of Pakistan on Tuesday evening, including Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The shaking also affected multiple cities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, prompting reports from several areas. The seismic monitoring centre recorded the earthquake at 4. 9 magnitude. According to the seismic monitoring centre, the earthquake struck at a depth of 193 kilometres.
