Illegal allotment of plots case: Court issues notices to Mustafa Kamal, others

KARACHI: An accountability court in Karachi on Thursday issued notices to 10 accused including Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal in connection with a reference regarding illegal allotment of welfare plots in Clifton. The accountability court has directed the accused to appear before it until September 15 after the NAB prosecutor submitted an application seeking restoration of the reference. Earlier, the Sindh High Court (SHC) had ordered to transfer the case to the accountability court, overturning the decision to transfer the reference to anti-corruption court. Mustafa Kamal, former director general SBCA Iftikhar Qaimkhani, former administration Fazlur Rehman and others were accused of illegally allotting the plots allocated for hawkers in Clifton.
