KARACHI: Islamabad International Airport (IIAP) has launched its Premium Meet and Greet/Concierge Service, marking another step towards enhancing passenger facilitation and elevating the overall airport experience. Secretary Defence Lt Gen Muhammad Ali (R) HI(M) was the chief guest at the launch ceremony. The event was attended by Major General Qaisar Suleman, Additional Secretary-IV (Defence Division); AVM Zeeshan Saeed, Director General Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA); AVM Amir Hayat, CEO Pakistan International Airlines; Colonel Irfan Hassan, Chief Coordinator Aviation, Ministry of Defence; Tashfin Ashraf, Director APS; Aftab Gilani, COO/Airport Manager IIAP; Senior Joint Director Commercial; and other PAA officials. Addressing the gathering, the Secretary Defence appreciated the concerted efforts of the airport management and the licensee in successfully introducing the service. He emphasized the importance of providing enhanced, seamless, and passenger-centric facilitation at the airport. DG PAA AVM Zeeshan Saeed highlighted the Authority’s commitment to provide modern, efficient, and customer-centric services in line with international airport standards. Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar (Retd) and Air Marshal Arshad Mahmood Malik (Retd) also addressed the gathering, highlighting the salient features of the service and appreciating the efforts of the team and airport management in bringing the initiative to fruition. The Premium Meet and Greet/Concierge Service is designed to provide a seamless and personalized airport experience, particularly for passengers seeking enhanced comfort, convenience, and dedicated assistance.
