‘Greater Israel’ or Islamic resurgence

There were three major revolutions in the 20th century. The Bolshevik revolution of 1917 created the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) that faded away with its dissolution in 1991. The Chinese revolution of 1949 remains on track as the People’s Republic of China (PRC) is poised to take over as the dominant superpower of the world replacing the USA. The Islamic revolution of 1979 led by Imam Ruhollah Khomeini ended the centuries old monarchy in Iran. After the break-up of Soviet socialist empire, the West tried to derail China’s march forward towards Socialism. In 1989, massive protests erupted in the Tiananmen Square in Beijing right outside the Mao Mausoleum where he lies under vacuum. With the help of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the protest was crushed by Deng Xiaoping and the revolution kept its course. Currently, efforts are under way to collapse the Iranian revolution through a regime change in Tehran. There is an axis for Greater Israel and containment of Islamic resurgence led by Iran. Israel’s expansionism has full on ground support of the sole superpower of the world together with Hindu-Zionist state led by Narendra Modi. Iran is the only democracy in the Middle East after Israel. The USA, the oldest constitutional democracy of the world, is responsible for keeping un-popular, autocratic monarchies in power through its bases in several Muslim countries while backing the expansionism designs of the Zionists. It is a perfect example of ‘running with the hare hunting with the hound’. This duplicity and confusion must end. In 1980 soon after the Islamic Revolution, Iraq under Saddam Hussein with the tacit support of the Arab monarchies invaded parts of Iran. Purpose was to contain the spread of Islamic resurgence led by Imam Khomeini, which mandated representative governments to end trivial family/tribal rule. The war continued for eight long years. Saddam had been used and weakened finally to be eliminated in the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Iran kept its course even after the death of Imam Khomeini in 1989. The February 28, 2026, assassination of his successor Ali Khamenei will not be able to contain the Islamic resurgence. The Arabs brought Islam to Iran, one of the oldest civilisations on earth. The Iranians accepted the ideology but rejected the Arab ways. They not only understood the message well but dwelled deep into its spiritual pathways through Sufism. Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi in the 13th century and Dr Muhammad Iqbal in the 20th brought new understanding of the message. Dr Ali Shariati carried Iqbal’s thoughts to Iran and laid the foundations of the resurgence. Dr Iqbal Lahori is revered as a saint in the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI). The battle lines are clearly drawn between Greater Israel and Islamic resurgence. In the region, oil is of primary interest to the West for which the people have kept hostage through autocracies and tribal rule. There must be a peaceful disengagement between the Western powers and the Middle Eastern countries under siege other than Israel. All USA bases should be shut down after a broad-based agreement for supply of oil. Israel will then be forced to live in peace with its Muslim neighbours and forget its expansionist designs. China’s march forward and Islamic resurgence are now un-stoppable. Clandestine intelligence-based operations and assassinations will have negative impact. Iran just did not get rid of the monarchy; it also eliminated all its traces and tailings. In the 21st century, Muhammad Reza Pahlavi’s son has no chance of reclaiming the throne. The CIA action brought the Shah back into power in 1953 by toppling the elected government of Mohammad Mossadegh, but not anymore. Greater Israel is being sold to the West through entrenched Jewish lobbies, but it is not workable. The world has changed. 21st has been predicted as the Chinese century followed by Islamic resurgence, while the West remains in decline. Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu with their war mongering mantra are making the world unsafe. Let peace prevail through amicable ways. The Jewish state must accept the two-state formula to live in peace; otherwise, face annihilation and return to Europe where they were kept in concentration camps. A small minority cannot dictate to the world through over-stretched misuse of resources at hand and tacit support of declining superpower. Dr Muhammad Iqbal Lahori predicted the end of capitalism and rise of Chinese Socialism in the decade of thirties before his death in 1938; “Gaya Daur-e-Sarmayadari Gaya, Tamasha Dekha Kay Madari Gaya” (Era of Capitalism is over, the street performer has left). Rumi’s and Iqbal’s Islam will lift the Muslim world in the times to come. He also gave the concept of ‘Imam-e-Barhaq’ (the rightful leader) who is respected by his fellowmen in faith.
