ISLAMABAD – The price of gold increased sharply in the local market on Wednesday, with 24 karat gold per tola rising by Rs11, 100 to settle at Rs488, 962 compared to Rs477, 862 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
