Development & improvement of every city & village govt’s mission: Maryam

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that development and improvement of every city and village was the government’s mission, adding that she was pleased that Pakpattan, which had remained neglected for years, was now moving towards development. The CM added that she was personally monitoring development projects in every city and area and was working day and night to transform Punjab into a better and the best province. The CM expressed these views during a meeting with members of the Provincial Assembly from Pakpattan, including Farooq Ahmed Maneka, Ch Javed Ahmed, Imran Akram and Sardar Mansab Ali Dogar. Matters relating to public issues and needs were discussed during the meeting. The MPAs presented proposals regarding urban and rural development in Pakpattan and thanked the CM for launching electric buses and initiating various development projects in the district. READ ALSO: Service to humanity is worship: Maryam The legislators termed the electric bus a “game changer project of the decade” and expressed gratitude to the CM and her team for beautification of Pakpattan city. They also thanked the Chief Minister for establishing modern Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence in Arifwala, Pakpattan. The MPAs said the people were grateful to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for launching modern electric buses in the land of Baba Farid (RA). They said 15 environment-friendly electric buses were providing quality transport facilities to the people of Pakpattan. They said the 15 electric buses operating on three major routes were facilitating thousands of passengers. The services included routes from General Bus Stand Pakpattan to Arifwala, Bunga Hayat and Noor Pur Sial. The Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed the MPAs to keep a close watch on the quality, pace and transparency of ongoing development projects in Pakpattan. She said development and prosperity of every city and village, including Pakpattan, was the government’s foremost objective. “I am pleased that Pakpattan, which remained neglected for years, is now on the path of development, ” she said. The Chief Minister said she was personally monitoring development projects in every city and every area and was working round the clock to make Punjab a better and the best province.
