Dar, Saudi and Turkish FMs discuss regional situation

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with the Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia and Türkiyeto discuss the regional situation with regard to the US-Iran conflict and the forthcoming important international event, the Foreign Office spokesperson said on Friday. The DPM/FM congratulated Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan on the consensus election of Ismail OuldCheikh Ahmed of Mauritania as the new OIC Secretary-General. The two ministers also exchanged views on regional developments and matters of mutual interest, including the forthcoming meeting of the R4 (Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and Egypt). They agreed to remain closely engaged. Separately, DPM Dar also held a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Türkiye. The two ministers discussed the evolving regional situation and exchanged views on matters of common interest. They also discussed forthcoming engagements, including the upcoming meeting of the R4.
