Dar reassures Araghchi of commitment to talks process

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has told Iran that dialogue and diplomacy remained the only viable path toward achieving peaceful resolution of issues and lasting peace. This was conveyed to Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar. Ishaq Dar held a held a telephonic conversation late last night with the Abbas Araghchi. According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office in Islamabad on Monday, the discussion was focused on regional situation and Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts for peace and stability in the region.
