ISLAMABAD – Chinese new-energy vehicle (NEV) giant BYD is set to deepen its footprint in Pakistan, with its local partner Mega Motor Company (MMC) announcing plans to commence local assembly of the BYD SEALION 6 from the fourth quarter of 2026, marking a significant shift from vehicle imports towards domestic production.
