Alkhidmat, PAFLA sign MoU to boost digital freelancing

KARACHI: Alkhidmat’s Bano Qabil Program and the Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to help young people build careers in the digital economy. The agreement aims to give youth the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to succeed as freelancers. The signing ceremony took place at Alkhidmat Karachi’s Head Office. Key officials attended the event, including Alkhidmat Karachi CEO Naveed Ali Baig, Bano Qabil Program Director Farooq Kamlani, and PAFLA Co-Founder and Chairman Ibrahim Amin. Farooq Kamlani and Ibrahim Amin formally signed the agreement and exchanged documents. The partnership will help Bano Qabil students learn more about freelancing, improve their professional skills, and connect with real work opportunities in the digital marketplace. Speaking at the event, Naveed Ali Baig said this partnership is an important step toward empowering Pakistan’s youth. He noted that students will receive guidance, practical training, and industry knowledge to build strong careers in Pakistan and around the world. Naveed Ali Baig welcomed the collaboration with PAFLA and added that it would also support Alkhidmat’s educational programs through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Ibrahim Amin said the agreement shows a shared commitment to helping Pakistani youth see freelancing as a real career option. He said PAFLA will provide young people with the knowledge, practical skills, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential in the digital economy.
