Shanghai textile expo: 8 Pakistani exhibitors showcase country’s capabilities

KARACHI: Eight Pakistani exhibitors showcased the country’s textile and yarn capabilities in the Intertextile Shanghai & Yarn Expo 2026, engaging with international buyers and sourcing professionals while strengthening business connections and exploring new markets. Pakistan made a strong impact at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics & Yarn Expo Autumn 2026, which concluded at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Shanghai, following its three-day run from 25–27 August 2026. A key highlight of the 2026 Autumn Edition was the Econogy Hub, where buyers and visitors could discover verified sustainable suppliers and next-generation natural, bio-based, and recycled textile solutions. Econogy Talk and the Econogy Tour further supported knowledge exchange and the discovery of sustainable alternatives, alongside a strong focus on performance textiles, sustainability, and digital transformation. The 2026 edition of Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics featured over 3, 500 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions, presenting new products, market trends, and business opportunities across the apparel textile value chain. Meanwhile, Yarn Expo Autumn brought together 600 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions, further strengthening the event’s role as an important international platform for textile sourcing and innovation. At Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Autumn, Azgard Nine, Kohinoor Mills, Mahmood Textile Mills, and Diamond Denim by Sapphire presented a diverse range of premium apparel fabrics, showcasing Pakistan’s strong textile manufacturing capabilities. At Yarn Expo Autumn, Abtex International, Ihsan Cotton Products, NV Tex Sourcing, and Xiamen Naseem Trade Co. showcased high-quality yarn products, highlighting the diversity and competitiveness of Pakistan’s yarn sector. The participation of Pakistani companies provided a valuable platform to showcase their products and capabilities, build international trade relationships, and strengthen Pakistan’s position in the global textile and apparel supply chain.
