Of these, 1 million people received assistance in areas classified as at Risk of Famine (RoF). A key achievement has been the reactivation of the Tiné-Tina corridor which enabled the delivery of 264 MT of food assistance for 22, 000 people in Tina, Kernoi and Um Baru localities in North Darfur. WFP maintained large-scale cash-based assistance in July, reaching 1. 3 million people across Sudan. Nutrition programmes also supported 415, 900 people; the highest monthly nutrition reach recorded in 2026. Home-grown school feeding activities resumed in Gedaref, Kassala and Red Sea states, reaching 123, 000 schoolchildren and supporting the gradual restoration of school-based assistance following earlier disruptions.
