Expressions of Interest: Identification of Prospective Humanitarian Partners for the Eastern and Southern Africa Humanitarian Fund (ESAHF) – Kenya

Country: Kenya Source: UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Please refer to the attached files. The ESAHF-Kenya is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from humanitarian organizations interested in being considered as prospective implementing partners for future humanitarian allocations in Kenya. Through this process, the ESAHF-Kenya aims to identify organizations with demonstrated humanitarian operational capacity, community presence, and the ability to support timely, accountable, and principled humanitarian response efforts in priority locations and sectors. The process forms part of broader efforts to strengthen humanitarian partnership engagement, expand operational partner networks, and support effective, locally informed humanitarian response across Kenya. Interested organizations are invited to review the attached EOI Proposal and Annex Template and submit the required information and supporting documentation by COB, Friday, 12 June 2026. Please send your applications to Mr. Martin Fisher (fisherm@un. org) and copy Mr. Ben Negus (negus@un. org) and Ms. Joy Maingi (joy. maingi@un. org). Organizations will be assessed against the eligibility and indicative selection criteria outlined within the EOI documentation. As this represents an initial intake process, the current eligibility criteria have been designed to support a manageable first round of onboarding, due diligence, and eligibility review processes, while establishing a credible and transparent pool of prospective humanitarian partners. Organizations that may not meet the current criteria are strongly encouraged to remain engaged. ESAHF-Kenya intends to progressively expand and diversify its humanitarian partner base over time through future intake processes, capacity strengthening opportunities, and continued engagement with humanitarian actors across Kenya. Submission instructions and required documentation are outlined within the attached EOI package. Please note that participation in the EOI process, inclusion within the prospective partner pool, or successful completion of due diligence and eligibility review processes does not guarantee funding under future ESAHF allocations. Future allocation decisions will be guided by the objectives and priorities of individual allocations, funding availability, operational requirements, and other relevant considerations.
