Shangla – Torrential rains and powerful flash floods triggered by severe thunderstorms wreaked widespread devastation in the remote Kana Valley of Shangla district, sweeping away more than a dozen houses, destroying key roads and cutting off the area from the rest of the district, residents and officials said on Sunday.
