India’s NSE posts 8% rise in fourth-quarter profit on derivative volumes

BENGALURU: India’s National Stock Exchange reported an 8% rise in consolidated profit for the fourth quarter on Tuesday, helped by strong growth in equity derivatives trading. The exchange posted a consolidated profit after tax of 28. 71 billion rupees ($301. 62 million) for the quarter ended March 31, compared with a profit of 26. 50 billion a year earlier.
