KEY WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS The Dahieh Doctrine Expanding: Airstrikes have significantly broadened beyond Beirut’s Southern Suburb into densely populated central residential districts, including Ain al-Mreisseh, Basta, and Corniche al-Mazraa, dissolving previous assumptions of urban safe zones. The Diplomatic Decoupling: The failure of Iran-US talks in Islamabad has decoupled Lebanon from broader regional framework agreements. Lebanon enters negotiations internally strengthened against Hezbollah, but externally exposed without a coordinated regional settlement. Ground Encirclement & Territorial Shaping: Israeli forces are executing active ground shaping in South Lebanon, utilizing phosphorus shelling in Mansouri, and attempting the encirclement of Bint Jbeil.
