CM orders timely completion of healthcare projects

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered timely completion of health projects across the province. Chairing a special meeting, the chief minister approved the establishment of the Maryam Nawaz Medical College and Teaching Hospital in Mianwali and a decision was taken to establish the Kulsoom Nawaz Cancer Hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan. The meeting was informed that a 268-bed Nawaz Sharif Maryam Nawaz Institute of Cardiology would be established in Gujranwala. A report on the medical college project in Layyah was also presented. The chief minister directed the authorities to take all necessary measures for the early completion of health projects in different cities. A detailed briefing was given on various health projects during the meeting, including the Nawaz Sharif Medical District, Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research Centre, and Sargodha Cardiology projects.
