LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday upheld the decision of Punjab Health Care Commission (PHC) sealing the maternity home of the petitioner Farhat Batool. Earlier, a law officer informed the court that the PHC had imposed fine to the petitioner twice for illegal practice and sealed the maternity home. He contended that the decision of the PHC was in accordance with the law. The court after hearing the law officer observed that the matter is of serious nature involving the health of the public at large and dismissed the petition in limine.
