Developed by the United Nations Gender Theme Group in Myanmar, this toolkit supports organisations, communities and individuals taking part in the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign in 2026. Aligned with the global UNiTE campaign theme, Ensure Justice. Protect Survivors. End Impunity. , the toolkit provides Myanmar-specific messages and calls to action, guidance on communicating responsibly about gender-based violence, campaign activity ideas, social media tips and ready-to-use content. It also introduces the Myanmar-specific campaign message, “Crisis is no excuse for GBV, ” supporting partners to reinforce a shared call for prevention, survivor protection and accountability.
